This is a computer RPG game. Something about the musical score combined with character development was amazing. I used to work and rushed to get into the shower so I could be clean enough for a long sit at my seat which wasn't my own PC. I was making progress in the game steady and picked up a magazine that had a strategy guide, thus summarizing the story-line, although side quests were very numerous.
I would get my snacks ready for the long gaming session. Red Mountain dew and lunch-a-bles, maybe some gummi worms and dried apricots. I started to think I was spending too much time on this PC but my roomie never came home much.
Just when I was at some cavern and had some spell-like abilities such as a shield, the computer turned into a solid screen. Making progress in this game really does make one work for it. Every little number counts. I kept doing re-loads of my game and perpetual saving before the next screen fry. I knew the fun was fading.
I went out and bought another copy and the same thing occured. I just had to take it, sigh, and remember how much fun I had before giving up. It must have been the PC. You see, these games get to know one's hands and I promise, weird freeze-ups, and screen melts are sometimes when your control pattern changes up is my theory. Like, my confidence and zest when I finally got my shield and magic more understood.
